You may have come across Commission Hero by Robby Blanchard, who claims that his program can help you make $1,000 a day within 30 days of purchasing it.
This is a big promise. Is it actually achievable?
If you are looking for an unbiased review of Commission Hero, you’ve come to the right place.
Read my Commission Hero review before you part with $997 for the program, and I will show you everything you need to know so you can make an informed decision on whether to invest in it.
Commission Hero Review Summary
Name: Commission Hero
Product Type: Affiliate Marketing Training Program
Owners: Robby Blanchard
Overall Rank: 45 out of 100
Recommended: No. Especially for beginners or people with a limited budget.
In Robby Blanchard’s webinar, he showed you his personal track record of making up to $40K of sales per day.
Although his webinar is very convincing and I do not doubt that his success is real, there are a couple things Robby failed to mention (whether intentional or not), which are his refund rates and his advertising cost.
His sales figures mean very little if we don’t know how much he spends on Facebook ads to get those sales and how high the refund rates are. Both of these can significantly affect his profits.
Plus, there are no guarantees that ads will work right away. You will need to constantly test and fine tune your ad campaigns to see what works. And all these require a large sum of money on top of what you pay for the course.
If you can barely afford the $997 to buy this course, then this WILL NOT work for you.
For that, this program is definitely NOT RECOMMENDED for beginners or people with a limited budget.
I suggest you check out my top recommended affiliate marketing program instead, which offers solid training and the fees will not break the bank.
However, if what you want is to specifically learn about Facebook Ads, then this could be a good opportunity to learn from one of the best in the industry.
What is Commission Hero?
Commission Hero is an affiliate marketing training program with a key focus in promoting Clickbank products using Facebook Ads.
If you don’t already know what Clickbank is, it is one of the largest affiliate marketing network platforms where product owners get to list their products on it and affiliate marketers can promote these products.
The owner of Commission Hero, Robby Blanchard, claimed to have many people achieve success with his simple 3-step method, which is:
Step1: Create an interesting ad image that causes curiosity and brings the clicks
Step 2: Create an appealing landing page to lead the visitors into the offer
Step 3: Choosing high-converting offers on Clickbank
Who is Robby Blanchard?
His story rising to success is an interesting one.
Robby started off as a struggling personal trainer in his own CrossFit gym back in 2014.
He then experimented with running ads for his gym and his business quickly turned around and gained 300 members.
In the following year, he created his own information product and found success through running Facebook ads.
He decided to run Facebook ads to other people’s high converting ClickBank products, spending thousands of dollars a day on paid advertisements and eventually made his first $1000 profit day.
How Commission Hero Works?
The Commission Hero training is broken down into 12 modules with over 40 videos.
Module 1: Getting Started
The training starts off with a few introductory videos on who Robby Blanchard is, how affiliate marketing works, as well as an overview of ClickBank, Clickfunnels and Facebook Ad Accounts.
Module 2: Choosing The Right Offers
Here you will learn how to find the right offers on ClickBank and another affiliate network called MaxWeb. You want to make sure you pick offers that are high converting and pays high commissions. Robby also shows you some examples of offers that have made him a lot of money.
Module 3: Finding Your Ad Image
In this module, Robby explains the importance of ad images and what they should contain to generate the highest click through rates. He will also show you how to look for the right image designers on Fiverr.
Module 4: Setting Up A Landing Page
This is where you will learn how to set up landing pages that act as a bridge between potential customers and the offer. It is never a good idea to send people from Facebook directly to a product page. People on Facebook are not ready buyers and you may actually get your ad account shut down as Facebook does not like affiliate marketers.
You will also need to be aware that you are required to sign up to Clickfunnels so that Robby can send his templates to you. This will incur an additional fee of $97 a month.
Module 5: Setting Up Facebook
In this module, Robby goes through everything you need to know about running ads on Facebook. You will learn how to set up a business manager account, fan page, your ad campaign and Adset, a custom audience, etc.
Module 6: Setting Up Facebook Pixel
Here you will learn how to Install FB Pixel and placing it in your ClickBank account to track your ad campaigns.
Module 7: Tracking Your Campaign
When running ads, it is very important to track all your campaigns so you know which ones are doing well and which ones are not. Robby shows you his tracking template and how he tracks all his ad campaigns.
Module 8: Scaling
Once you find a campaign that is doing well, you will want to start putting more money on it and scale up. You will learn how to do that exactly over here.
Module 9: Robby’s Ninja Tactics
In this module, Robby covers a few tactics that will allow you to maximize the results of your ad campaigns such as spying on Facebook Ads that work, utilizing your credit cards for ads and how to deal with account shut-downs.
Module 10-12: Bonuses
In these sections, Robby gives you his ad copy, ad images and landing page swipe files that have generated millions of dollars in sales. He also covers the mindset required to achieve success and offers coaching calls to help you with your Facebook Ads. Additionally, you get access to special deals that are only available for members.
Upon signing up for Commission Hero, you get access to a private Facebook Group which I find is pretty active. Here you can see success stories and discuss issues with other members.
How Much Does Commission Hero Cost?
Commission Hero costs a one-time fee of $997 to join.
Alternatively, you can opt for two payments of $597.
Are there any hidden costs?
While there are no upsells for this product, you do have to take into account other costs to make this work. The two main ones are:
The Clickfunnel membership which costs $97 a month
Facebook advertising costs – around $300-$500 a month
So as you can see, on top of the $997 fee to join Commission Hero, you need to be prepared to spend hundreds more each month to get this to work.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
The program comes with a 12-month success policy, meaning you need to put the course to the test for 12 months and if it doesn’t work, you can request for a full refund. Not a single day before.
That also means you need to be able to prove that you have really done some work with it throughout the 12-month period and not sat on it and did nothing.
I find this one of the harshest refund policies for a ClickBank product.
Who is Commission Hero For?
If you are a beginner and just learning how to do affiliate marketing, I do not recommend this product.
Paid advertisements aren’t actually as easy or straightforward as the “experts” make them out to be.
There are no guarantees that ads will work right away.
There are constant testing and fine-tunes to pick out the winners. And all these require a great amount of money money.
If you can barely afford the $997 to buy this course, then this WILL NOT work for you.
Now if what you want is to be specifically good at Facebook Ads, and you can afford the course and the additional monthly budget you need to set aside for ads, then by all means give it a try.
You can be sure that you are learning from one of the best in the industry and you get to see exactly how he does it.
The Good & the Bad
Robby Blanchard is legit and one of the top marketers on Clickbank
Robby has gotten some impressive results and has made a large amount of money from promoting ClickBank products over the past few years. The course is legit and you get to learn exactly how he does it.
Unlike many other affiliate marketing courses out there, Commission Hero only charges a one-time payment for his course.
The course is limited to Facebook ads
It is a shame that the course only shows you how to run ad campaigns on Facebook and not other platforms such as Google and YouTube Ads, which are huge. For the high cost of Commission Hero, I’d expect more training content.
Facebook doesn’t like affiliate marketers
There are countless stories of Facebook accounts being shut down because Facebook generally does not like affiliate promotions on it. They are extremely strict and your account can literally be shut down overnight without warning. Although, there are training inside Commission Hero that teaches you how to deal with it (such as creating multiple accounts), this is still a hassle.
You potentially need to spend a large sum of money on Facebook ads before seeing results
You probably won’t see positive results right away as you need to spend the money on ads to test out what works and then use the data to fine tune it further. To do that, you need to run a few campaigns simultaneously and see which works and then keep the winners and drop the losers.
This requires money. Potentially a lot of it. If you do not have sufficient budget set aside for it, you may have to throw in the towel before you find your winner.
Additional tools needed
There are additional expenses you need to pay for to really get the best outcome, such as Clickfunnel fees and costs to create ad images on Fiverr.
My Final Opinion of Commission Hero
While Robby Blanchard is one of the top affiliates on ClickBank and has shown you proof that he generates tens of thousands of dollars in sales a day, there are a few things he failed to mention in his webinar.
Firstly, he did not reveal the amount of money he spent on Facebook ads to get those level of sales. So, you really have no idea how much of those sales are his profits. He could even be spending as much as he makes on ads, and that means zero profit. We’ll never know.
Secondly, ClickBank products have really high refund rates due to the money-back guarantees on most of them. This is not factored into Robby’s sales figures. If you include these refunds, his sales figures could be significantly lower. And this would affect his profits as well, because the money has already been spent on ads to generate those sales.
Therefore, Robby hasn’t really shown you the whole picture and you could be left disappointed with the actual results after purchasing Commission Hero.
For that, this program is definitely not recommended for beginners or people with a limited budget.
However, if your only purpose is to learn about Facebook ads, then this could be a good opportunity to learn from one of the best.
